GeNa is the swiss army knife of spawning systems, enabling rapid creation of gorgeous looking scenes.
GeNa gives you the flexibility to go fully procedural or fully manual or somewhere in between and cuts days and weeks out of level generation.
GeNa’s secret sauce is in the way it combines terrain scanning with rules to enable you to quickly and intuitively choose where and how your assets should be placed into the scene. You simply click on the environment you want to sample and GeNa will choose similar environments within the boundaries you select to place grass, trees, prefabs and points of interest (collections of prefabs like villages, grave yards, groves of trees) into your scene with a wide range of different algorithms.
Even before it’s launch GeNa is being used by several AAA game studios, and the feedback consistently ranges from somewhere between “Genius!” and “Makes level design fun again.”
GeNa is compatible with environments created by any terrain generation system, and is of course the perfect companion to Gaia!
Gaia and GeNa share the ability to place things into your terrain, however, whereas Gaia fills worlds, GeNa fills locations – exactly where you want them filled – and this is a key distinction.
GeNa does this by sampling the environment you click on, and then selecting similar area’s in which to spawn your content. It’s an entirely new way to work and is incredibly intuitive.
